Thabiso Mosia, SAfm Sports presenter reviewed the book titled Siya Kolisi: Road to Glory written by Jeremy Daniel. The book tells a moving story of the rise to fame from humble beginnings of one of South Africa’s most popular rugby stars, Siya Kolisi written specifically for young readers.

Joy Phala, Landscape Designer at Organic Kitchen Gardens spoke to us about the benefits of gardening organically and the Johannesburg international flower show taking place at Waterfall City-Mall of Africa on October 30th to November 3rd.

Fiola Lujabe, Student and Chapter Coordinator for Operation Smile South Africa spoke to us about Operation Smile SA celebrating 100 reasons to smile on World Smile Day, which took place on 4 October.

She also spoke about cleft lifts and cleft palates being the third most common birth defects in SA and how the organisation helping people with cleft conditions across Southern Africa.

Robert Luo, CEO and co-founder of Mi Terro, spoke to us about the sustainable fashion start-up MiTerro that creates usable products with materials that would otherwise go to waste. Their most recent product is the Milk Tee, which is produced with excess milk that would otherwise be dumped.

Today our guest presenter was Sylvia 'Magogo’ Glasser, who is a cultural activist, dancer, teacher, choreographer, mentor, social anthropologist and writer.
She spoke about her new book, “Tranceformations and Transformations – Southern African Rock Art and Contemporary Dance” and her contribution to the field of dance.

Her two chosen guests were Gregory Maqoma internationally renowned dancer, and choreographer and Luyanda Sidiya, choreographer and artistic director at Vuyani Dance Company.

Namhla Mnik, Executive Director of African Monitor spoke about the “Share Your Story” campaign by African Monitor, a campaign with the goal of making the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals a part of the national dialogue.

The purpose of the campaign is to incite everyday South Africans, youth specifically, to not only take note of the goals but to take ownership and help in the efforts of realizing them in their communities.

10 year old, Daniel Nyamgero, recently launched his book Spy Andy and Diaper Baby at the Scoobs theatre of Books in Montecasino, Fourways.

He spoke to us about Spy Andy and his brother, Diaper Baby who have embarked on two different missions that involve the camouflage and secrecy of espionage. The big question is: Will the two missions unite the boys?

Twin Mosia is the founder and curator of award-winning Elandskop Museumn which is based in the small town of Mamafubedu, Petrus Steyn in the Free State. He spoke to us about winning numerous awards for his commitment to the preservation of South African heritage and the upliftment of his community.
