Jesus, the King's coming to earth DISRUPTED the discriminatory and exclusivist societal norms among Jews of the time, making the insignificant important, and the forgotten, key players in God’s story of redemption.

From Matthew 2:3, Eddie helps us to understand that the Lord often comes into our lives and spaces when we are the most comfortable. He comes into our lives at a time when we are more comfortable, to disturb our comfort so His glory can be establish in our lives.

In this first installment, Eddie speaks about the purpose of Matthew's gospel account in terms of establishing the sovereignty/Lordship of Jesus as the promised Messiah for all people, and not for some people. 

From Acts 1:9-11, pastor Eddie encourages all those who have had to deal with a lost, to learn in spite the reality of said lost, to stay focus on their mission. From the life of Jesus' disciples after the ascension, they had to keep their focus on the mission to be Jesus' witnesses.
