Catty Romance
The writing was good, but the plot was one of the lamest I've ever read. A cat was the reason for the abduction which is downright silly. Throughout the whole story, I thought, this is not a good storyline when a cat is the focus of basically the whole romance/abduction. The romance was also just your typical scenario with nothing special happening there.
Who wouldn't love a romantic Italian!
What a sweet, fun story. This was my first book by Jennifer Blake and I am so happy that I found it. It was a light, fun, romantic story. I enjoy any story that takes place in Italy and this one was so different. A little fantasy about accidentally meeting a billionaire and being wisked away to a private island.A much sought after cat and strong Italian family customs. The story was very intriguing and unique. I found myself laughing out loud at times and cheering for a happy ending.

What can I say other than Jennifer Blake had become one of my favorite authors of romance/mystery novels. This author captures you with warmth and darkness depending on the situation that she is putting forth to you, the reader. I will be ordering more of Jennifer Blake's writings.
Not the best of the 3
I downloaded this book after reading The Italian Billionaires twinpack, which I really loved. This one was ok but there were definitely some pretty unbelievable plot lines. The H basically 'kindnaps' the h in order to protect her and find out what's behind the attempt on her life. The h is an American cop in Italy on holiday. The story develops between the two as the H keeps the h with him on his beautiful island. I have to say that I liked the H and he wasn't an over the top alpha but I wasn't too keen on the h. Anyway it's a romance and it's enjoyable but you'll have to suspend your disbelief at a few of the situations.

Pretty good little read about a girl who gets caught up in a traffic jam on a windy, cliff hugging road while on her way to meet her girlfriends at an Italian resort. Of course a handsome Italian comes to her rescue, turns out to be a billionaire, and whisks her away to safety in his helicopter to a private island. The storyline is a little flat. He has to keep her "safe" because his sister and brother-in-law are fighting over a cat. The leading lady constantly questions her choices- getting in the car with a stranger, etc., but is equally intrigued by the glory of life in the lap of luxury. I won't spoil the end for you, but let's just say it's pretty predictable.
