Almost 20 years ago, Trainspotting hit theaters and revolutionized the image of British cinema every where. Trainspotting told a story about addiction and toxic relationship that no film had done before. When Renton leaves his friends after a successful drug deal, audiences thought that the story was over and done with. However, flash forward to 2017 and a sequel to the classic film was released to an audience that wasn't sure what to make of it.
