We're tackling Twiztid again due to scheduling weirdness! Also, our Marvelous Missing Link: Lost episode is sadly forever lost, and this is taking its place! Also also, all three of us barely hold it together as everything goes insane around us during recording!
Still, fun times to be had, and actual bears get involved! You know you want to hear about that!
Or as we call it in my parts, The Mighty Death Soda! ... Wait. This is a very interesting album for ICP, and we had a good time discussing it! But whether we had a good time *listening* to it, well, I'm not giving that away in the description! Mostly because I'm still not sure, to be honest.
With a bang (BANG!) we've returned to do this thang, your complete entertainment is the reason we came, and a pow (POW!) we're checking the second deck out, will it turn our brains into mushroom clouds? And a boom (BOOM!), our voices are back in your rooms, nobody escapes and everybody's consumed!
Apologies for the audio quality, Skype mangled a lot of it.
We don't need no brain, don't need anything, we just need a podcast to laugh with! Violent J's Wizard of the Hood EP gets Jeckel Buddies'd this week, and it goes without saying that it's a standout album that lets the Psy Boys channel their inner Slick Rick to tell us a story! But... did we like it? Gee, I dunno, better listen and find out!
Next week, we put down our hatchets for a moment and test the waters with a non-Psychopathic artist, Neil Cicierega! And despite the foible in the episode, next week's album will actually be "Spirit Phone", a comedic new-wave-ish album about the paranormal! After that, we'll be back to our main mission with ICP's Bizaar Bizzar!
We take a Scottless twizt this week as we discuss the "classic" album Freekshow! Rob loved this album as a teen! He's suggested it to many other people over the years! Imagine his shock as he discovers an overlong nu-metal rap album with very few bright spots. Or click play and hear his and Maggie's shock yourself! Next week is a guaranteed winner with Violent J's Wizard of the Hood.
Oowee! Music videos abound! We talk about a smattering of ICP and Twiztid videos this week, with a bonus at the end! Sorry about the audio and such, recording got funky and I couldn't salvage it the way I was hoping. It also made it very hard to edit, so there may be parts that weren't intended to be in the final cut. Anyhow, next week we'll be talking about Twiztid's album Freekshow!
LOTUUUUUS! We cover the Psychopathic supergroup Dark Lotus, namely the ABK incarnation, with our discussion of their debut album! Well... we do discuss it, but get easily sidetracked numerous times and talk about everything from plastic bag ASMR to hot political takes (#boycottJeckelBuddies) and the varied uses of the word "defecation". Tune in next week for a special music video episode!
Who took the chicken off the plate and put it in the fridge? We did! Hell's Pit marks the end of the First Six, and what a note to end it on. Due to the nature of the album, we cover some darker than usual topics, so discretion is advised. Also, I'm a little off my game on this episode, so apologies up front. Next week, we'll be switching things up a little by covering Dark Lotus, and for the foreseeable future, we'll be "cleaning up shop" by focusing on side albums and other Psychopathic artists before we take on the current deck of Joker Cards.
BLAAAAM! This is it, folks. The mystical, magical sixth Joker's Card. The end of an era! But just the beginning for The Jeckel Buddies! Does The Wraith stack up to its insane buildup? Does Thy Unveiling blow our wigs off our heads? Should Shaggy 2 Dope be allowed to entertain at children's birthday parties? Find out within!

Rob throw another, Maggie catch one more, they'll try to catch all that's in store for yoooou! With Scott taking care of daddy business, it's a two person show this week, as we tackle the fifth Joker's Card! The ICP lore thickens, and we are visited by the spirit of Bang Pow Boom himself!
