In part 1, Peter, Pa and Humphrey talk about becoming trainers with Kilbrittain, the players they coached and building a good team.
Pa Finn a St. Finbarr's man joined Kilbrittain in 1985 bringing the then Junior team to a win against Cobh in the Cork Junior County Championship allowing Kilbrittain entry into the Intermediate grade. Humphrey Cronin took the then Intermediate team in 1995 to the Cork Intermediate County Championship final beating Ballincollig to bring the club up to the Senior grade. In later years the club went back down a grade to Intermediate. Peter Brennan joined the club in the late 2000s and brought the club back to Cork Intermediate County Championship final against Ballygarvan. A win, there, secured Kilbrittains ascent into the new Premier Intermediate grade.
