The Americhicks

Welcome to the Americhicks podcast. Kim Monson and Molly Vogt are your hosts. Agree or disagree, let's have a conversation!

Molly is back.

She attended a conference sponsored by the National Achievers Congress (nationalachieverscongress.com).

As if Molly wasn't optimistic enough, she has returned from that conference with even more optimism!

Remember what Obama did to invite more diseases into America (cis.org/Report/Obama-Opens-Border-More-STDs)?

Think of that as you read 1/3rd of this caravan at the US/Mexico border are being treated for health related issues.

The possibility of disease entering the United States is one of the reasons we need to know who is coming into the country.

One listener took exception to some thoughts Kim and Molly recently shared about the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Can you imagine a school where all kids are eagerly raising their hands in class, engaged and excited about their lessons?

How about a school that teaches their students to look adults in the eyes, shake their hands and communicate what's being taught in class that day?

Ascent Classical (flatirons.ascentclassical.org) is a true blessing to Coloradans.

What is happening with Ascent Classical Academy's application for their charter school in Boulder County?

Is the Boulder Valley School Board shutting the door on options for parents and their children's education?

Why should you care?

Deric Shuler and Heidi Ganahl remind us why school choice is so important to a free, educated and moral society.

Welcome to the Americhicks podcast. Kim Monson and Molly Vogt are your hosts. Agree or disagree, let's have a conversation!

What is the state of education in Colorado?

Deb Schffel is the perfect person to ask this question to.

Education should help students answer the big questions in life:

(1) Who am I?

(2) Why am I here?

(3) What am I to do?

Additionally, education should teach students the skills they need to go after their hopes and dreams and to live their lives instead of just existing.

How are we doing?

Deb Schffel fills us in.
