The Constitution does NOT give us our rights.
The Constitution puts government within a specific sized box and limits its role, its reach, its power.
The Founders of the U.S. Constitution put in place a way to reign in the Federal Government, if the government were to lose its' way and get too big for its' britches.
Instead of guns and force, the Founders added Article V to the U. S. Constitution.
Neal Schuerer (heartland.org/about-us/who-we-are/neal-schuerer) is the Executive Director with Campaign Constitution, a Senior Fellow at The Heartland Institute, and Chairman of the Colorado Committee of Corresponedence.
