Welcome to the Americhicks podcast. Kim Monson and Molly Vogt are your hosts.
The 16th Anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks on our nation.
Molly and Kim remember where they were and their initial thoughts and feelings following the 9.11 attacks.
We, as American citizens, willing gave up a number of freedoms in response to the September 11th 2001 terrorist attacks.
Kim tried to sneak her wine opener on to a plane last weekend... Molly once tried to sneak a switchblade onto a plane... and we thought we knew these ladies!
Are we safer today than we were the day before the 9.11 attacks?
Immigration IS a very real and deadly important part of keeping America safe from terrorism.
Our guest today, Michael Cutler, is a retired INS Senior Special Agent.
Mr. Cutler has testified before well over a dozen Congressional hearings in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.
He most recently testified before a hearing conducted by the Senate Judiciary Committee on March 20, 2013 on the topic, “Building an Immigration System Worthy of American Values."
Mr. Cutler is the keynote speaker on Saturday, 9/16, at U.S. Constitution Week in Grand Lake.
Be sure to listen in. You'll learn some new perspectives on immigration and terrorism.
