The Americhicks

Welcome to the Americhicks podcast.

Kim Monson is your host - Agree or disagree, let's have a conversation!

Former Colorado State Senator Kevin Lundberg and Kim discuss TABOR (the Tax Payers Bill of Rights) and the safety clause.

TABOR is one of the primary causes that Colorado has had a consistently thriving economy.

It is under never ending and increasing assault by the Left who wants more of your money.

The safety clause, ever heard of it?

It is a mechanism meant to get around a Colorado Constitutional requirement which allows the people of Colorado 60 days to bring a petition to require a public vote on a bill before the bill becomes law.

The safety clause takes that petition power away from the citizens of Colorado.

While we were all busy watching as Governor Polis signed the National Popular Vote legislation for Colorado, something else was missed by many.

Specifically House Bill 19-1243.

This particular House bill allows sixteen year olds to vote in school district elections.

Upward, ever upward - pressing on.

We are Americans and that is our calling.

It’s what makes us unique.

The idea that we press on and our goal is ever upward towards human flourishing, prosperity, and well-being.

Dr. Thomas Krannawitter, author, speaker, and professor joins Kim to talk about The American Experiment and how it propels everyday humans upward.

It promises to be a fascinating conversation.

President Trump has quietly been donating his presidential salary.

He doesn't make a big deal of it and the media refuses to cover it.

Is the push for a national popular vote, which is a go around of the Electoral Vote, an attempt to make sure President Trump does not serve a second term?

Kim witnessed 16 year olds being registered to vote.

They cannot vote at age 16, but when they turn 18 they will automatically be sent a mail in ballot.

What are the seven basic needs of every human? Tuesday, guest Jim Lewis, Professional Counselor with Southwest Counseling Associates (www.southwestcounseling.org), shares his observations from his thousands of hours of therapy work with hundreds of individuals.

It’s important to understand what makes us tick so that we can address our challenges and live full, prosperous and thriving lives.

This show may change your life!
