The Americhicks

Welcome to the Americhicks WWII Project podcast.

Kim Monson and Molly Vogt are your hosts.

Initially Eugene Van Fleet served in the Merchant Marines.

As WWII progressed, he joined the Navy and served in a Naval Construction Battalion in the Pacific theater: Manila and Japan.

Each of our WWII Veteran's experiences are unique.

You will find Eugene's story about a 1940 Packard in Manila fascinating.

Following the interview with Eugene Van Fleet we have some bonus audio with Charles "Bud" Goodwin from our December 9th interview with this amazing WWII veteran.
