We will look at three results of God’s providence in Ruth chapter 4, so that we will remain faithful.

In Ruth chapter 3, we witness three perfections of God

that tie together His providence and our decisions.

In Ruth 2, we will examine three facets of God's providence which will help us enjoy God everyday.

Naomi experiences providential tragedy and clings to God Almighty leading others to follow her so that you and I will also become examples of faithfulness to God.

Jesus calls, corrects, comforts, and commissions Mary, by name,

to proclaim the resurrection so that

you and I will proclaim the resurrection.

In this passage, we see that John saw the empty grave clothes and believed in the resurrection of Jesus, so that we will believe what John wrote and have life in Jesus’s name.

John the Apostle describes the final hours of Jesus’s life and death, so that we will believe that He is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing, we will have life in His name.

As we observe Pilate handing Jesus over to the Jews to be crucified, we must ask, what did this accomplish in us today?

In this passage, we see the humility of Christ triumphing over weak, wicked leaders’ fear of man and hatred of Jesus, so that we will trust in Him and His obedience in the face of evil.

In this passage, we see why the grace of God is most amazing. What is most valuable to us influences our motives and desires and shapes us. We need to understand grace more so that it forms the pillar of our holiness and gives us the correct view of this world's greatest need.
