Today we’re trolling the trolls. Yeah, you heard right. We found some trolls (aka those haters that leave offensive comments whilst hiding behind their screens) in the Instagram comment sections of public figures and asked them two questions: why they felt the need to comment these things and what they were hoping it would accomplish. A perfect follow-up to last week’s discussion on mental health and social media, today we discuss why trolls exist, why they leave these mean comments, and how we can proactively deal with them to create a healthier online space.

How much responsibility do we take as users to contribute  to healthy online platforms? We discuss these questions, as well as interview a TikToker who says social media has actually helped his mental health, in today’s episode!

In the final week of our series on Rejection, we’re going where few are brave enough to go; today we’re talking daddy issues. That’s right, we’re going THERE. We’re joined in studio by Martha Smith, worship leader at Hope + Anchor Community Church, as she shares with us her story of her relationship with her father and the rejection she battled with as a result of it. Regardless of what kind of family we’re brought up in, we all experience some extent of rejection because no family is perfect. Join us as Martha encourages us to seek healing and reconciliation so we don’t have to walk in rejection!

From friend groups to academics to romantic relationships and more, we heard some really profound thoughts on how people have experienced rejection and how to overcome it.
