Though we often use it to explain the importance of baptism, Romans 6 is primarily about death to sin.
The unity of God's people was so important to Jesus that it was on his heart at the cross, and it ought to be on ours every day.
How do we decide what is right and wrong? How do we know what God will accept in worship and what He will not? To find the answer, we have to know who God is and understand His character.
In our songs, prayers, and confessions of faith, we proclaim, “Jesus is the Son of God," but do we really know what we are saying?
It is not just us. It has never been just us. God is working through his word and through his hand in our circumstances.
In one of the greatest passages in the New Testament, the Apostle Paul has told us what each of us must do in relation to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The time has come in the Lord's Church for us to realize the fundamental facts that lie at the basis of our faith, and to re-emphasize those facts, and to re-ground ourselves in those facts, and to really believe in those facts, and to live as we believe them.
