I'm celebrating a $62,000 launch. Like, WHAT?!

I don't have a huge audience. I didn't run any ads. In fact, I didn't even post on my IG feed for over 15 days during this launch.

I did however- go to a 4-hour hair appointment, binge-watch every episode of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and go on a walk every day.

In this episode, I'm breaking down exactly what I did and sharing my biggest takeaways.

I also have a quick announcement: This is going to be the last episode of the podcast for a little bit. The podcast isn’t going anywhere, but in this season of life, I realized I need to walk my walk and take a pause to focus on serving my clients, spending time with my family with the holidays coming up, getting Reese into the college of her dreams and traveling.

There are a lot of lies you may hear in the coaching industry, but the one I’m sharing with you today is probably the biggest. So many people I know have fallen for this lie, and if you believe it, it can make things so much harder for you.

Okay, so what’s the lie? It’s this: “What got you here will not get you there.” It’s so easy to believe because we’re always trying to grow and expand, but when we get stuck, we’re told it’s because we’re doing the same things that got us to this point of success. We can’t possibly do that again to reach the next level, so we have to try something different.

I’m dissecting this today and explaining why this is actually a lie and the reason why I feel like you should always follow what has worked for you.

I don’t know about you, but I think it’s really helpful when coaches or entrepreneurs share where they invest in themselves and where they’re putting their money to see growth. This is particularly helpful for me when it comes to coaches.

And while it’s cool to see where other people investing, it doesn’t mean I have to invest in what they are investing. What works for someone else may not work for me or you. When you’re considering investing, it’s important to ask yourself what support you’re craving, what you feel you need to learn, how you want to be challenged, and what kind of support would make you feel empowered.

I always encourage investing from that place in your own business and your own growth, but I still find it fascinating to hear the types of coaches they are investing in. So, I decided, hell yes!
