Episode #75 Adam Boliek Vice President, Ticket Sales & Service Atlanta Dream WNBA
Adam began his career working with Obama for American as a Fundraising Assistant, then joined TNA Wrestling as a Sales Intern. In 2011 he started working with Coastal Championship Wrestling in Ticket Sales and Sponsorships for four years.
In 2014 he got his start in professional sports with the Florida Panthers NHL team. He started as a New Business Account Executive, and in 2018 he was named Senior Premium Account Executive. In late 2018 he left the Panthers to join the newly formed Orlando Apollos as Director, Ticket Sales. In May 2019 he joined Orlando City SC in Group Sales and Tourism.
From March 2020 through June 2022 Adam was Director, Sales and Services with the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games.
June 2022 he began his current role with the WNBA's Atlanta Dream as Vice President, Ticket Sales & Service.

Episode #74 - Mike Murphy - Associate Athletic Director, Marketing & Communications at University of New Hampshire
Mike graduated from Syracuse University and joined WKXL Radio in Concord, NH as Sports Director in 1995. In 2006 he joined the New Hampshire Fisher Cats minor league baseball team as Director of Media Relations, and tickets sales.
Mike Murphy, now in his 13th year at UNH in 2022-23, was promoted to his current role of Associate Athletic Director for Marketing & Communications on Jan. 28, 2021. In this role, Murphy oversees the merging of marketing with communications in support of revenue enhancement, brand strength and visibility.
Murphy served as Associate Athletic Director for Communications from Nov. 2013 to Jan. 2021. He managed a team that handled all aspects of the department's day-to-day external relations strategies across multiple platforms, including digital, broadcast and social media.
Murphy joined the UNH athletic communications staff June 30, 2010, as an Associate Director. He has served as the primary media contact for the Wildcats’ football, gymnastics and skiing programs.
Murphy has led a department that has hosted the NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Regional Championships (2011-13-15-17-19), NCAA Ski Championships (2017-21), NCAA Women's Frozen Four (2016) and East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Championship (2014, 2019).
Murphy has been part of the Wildcat Sports Radio Network since 1998. He became the radio Voice of UNH Wildcats Hockey in 2016 and subsequently won his sixth (2016), seventh (2017), eighth (2020) and ninth (2022) New Hampshire Sportscaster of the Year awards from the National Sports Media Association (NSMA). He was previously feted in 1998, 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2009.
Murphy, who hosted the UNH Coaches' Show on the radio for more than a decade, has worked in a TV broadcast capacity as the Voice of UNH Hockey on NESN and ESPN, in addition to serving as Wildcat football color commentator on NBC Sports Boston.
Previously, Mike served as the radio color commentator for UNH football games from 1998-2009, men's and women's basketball from 2001-17 and women's hockey from 2008-17. Other past on-air work for UNH Athletics includes hosting the former Inside Wildcat Country, a television program that offered fans an in-depth look at the inner workings of UNH athletics, on WBIN-TV and Fox College Sports.
He was named the EAGL co-Administrator of the Year in 2013 when he was the primary athletic communications contact for the eight-team league that included UNH, George Washington, Maryland, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and Towson.
Prior to joining the UNH athletic department, Murphy served as the Director of Media Relations and a Ticket Sales Executive for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Toronto Blue Jays’ Double-A affiliate located in Manchester, from 2006-10. He played a significant role as part of the Fisher Cats’ front office that was awarded the prestigious 2009 Double-A Bob Freitas Award by Baseball America in recognition for achieving long-term success in Minor League Baseball.
Murphy, honored as the 2008 New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters Air Personality of the Year, was part of the Fisher Cats Radio Network broadcast team from the minor league baseball team's inception in 2004 through 2010. He was also bestowed the A.P. Top Play-by-Play Award in 2001 and 2008 and is a 12-time recipient of the NHAB Golden Mike Award.
Murphy joined the Fisher Cats’ front office in a full-time capacity as a Ticket Sales Account Executive in January 2006 following more than a decade of radio experience in the Granite State, where he served as host for the "Sports Zone" talk show on 107.7, the Pulse, and on WKXL radio in Concord.
Murphy is a graduate of Syracuse University.

Episode #72 - John Nevarez Jr. - Director Of Sales & Experiences at San Antonio Brahmas has been working in sports for almost 12 years. He started his career as an intern in the athletic department with Louisiana Tech University back in 2011. His second internship brought him back to Dallas to work with the Texas Revolution indoor football team. While there he rose through the ranks and in 2015 became the General Manager of the team. He left Dallas in 2017 to become the President of the Omaha Beef indoor football team and continued in that role until he landed in Tampa with the XFL's Tampa Bay Vipers.
Now John's back in Texas...and the XFL helping launch the San Antonio Brahmas.

Adam Nuse spent the last five years as the Sounds' General Manager & Chief Operating Officer and oversaw all day-to-day operations related to the ballclub.
Under his guidance, the Sounds were named the 2019 Triple-A winner of Baseball America's Freitas Award. The Freitas Awards have been presented by Baseball America annually since 1989 and recognize franchises for their community involvement, long-term business success and consistent operational excellence.
In 2018 and 2017, the Sounds garnered back-to-back Honorable Mention awards as Minor League Baseball's Team of the Year by Ballpark Digest. Also in 2018, the City of Nashville and the Nashville Sounds were named the home of the best minor league baseball town in America by SmartAsset.
Nuse came to Music City from the Bowling Green Hot Rods of the Midwest League, where he served as the General Manager and Chief Operating Officer since January 2014.
The Texas native was previously with the Corpus Christi Hooks of the Texas League from 2004-2013, where he served in a variety of sales roles throughout his tenure and most recently served as Vice President of Sales beginning in 2009. Nuse began his career in professional baseball as a marketing and sales intern with the 2001 Round Rock Express and the 2002 Oklahoma City RedHawks, both in the Pacific Coast League.

Bina Technologies: A super-computing software for genomics raised $10M then was acquired by Roche in 2014 for an estimated $500 million.
Organ-i: produced a Kidney Solid Organ Rejection Test (k-SORT) raised $250K and then sold its technology to Immucor for $12 million.
IL-2 Rx: In 2018, an autoimmune drug spun out of Stanford University. Funded by private investors. Potential target for technology acquisition by Gilead and the likes. Currently technology is still in development.
Omniox: is a biotechnology company, which spun out of Berkeley in 2006 and began to commercialize technologies used in identifying and treating cancer, cardiovascular disease and trauma. As of 2018, the company had raised $20M in venture funding and grants. Currently technology is still in development.
