1. Taking ownership of your career and life is paramount - this is the underlying theme of the whole summit. Stop waiting for others to give you things. Take ownership and take control of your future. 
2. It's important to make time to reflect on the work you love and set a vision for the future - one of the biggest problems out there is people don’t make space or time to reflect and plan.
3. You need to truly visualize what you want to achieve and then set specific goals - When you have quiet time, start to visualize exactly what you want to achieve in your career and then start to work backwards and make a plan for how you can get there. 
4. Don't wait to build your network and prepare for the future - Dig your well before you’re thirsty. Start building relationships now before you need them. 
5. Your personal brand is essential to your future success - this is so underrated and underappreciated. Your brand is your reputation and stems from how you show up. 
6. Developing a growth and ownership mindset is crucial for your success - with a growth mindset, you can try new things and you believe you can always learn and improve. 
7. Do what is right for you - don’t get caught up in comparison. Set your own goals and chart your own path. 
8. Play the long game - Inspired by Dorie Clark’s book, always consider the big picture and keep the long game in mind
9. Don't try to do it alone and don't be afraid to ask for help - I’ve received so much help in my career from coaches, mentors, friends, etc. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. 
10. Invest in yourself - Both time and money. If you want to change careers, hire a career coach. Take a course, go to a conference, upgrade your summit ticket and take my course.
