What happens when a woman stops settling for “fine” and starts building a life that feels full?
In this episode, I’m sitting down with my sweet friend Nancy Moore a business professor of 25 years, podcast host of Sharing Passion and Purpose, and a true community builder in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We talk about what it looks like to go from being miserable in a job you can’t stand… to creating a life that actually fits who you are.
Nancy shares how her podcast was born in 2020 when so many people were laid off and asking, “What am I supposed to do with my life? And how that season sparked side hustles, career shifts, and real soul-searching for so many women. We also dive into the power of in-person community, why vulnerability matters, and how to create safe spaces where women can be heard, supported, and held accountable.
If you’ve been craving connection, clarity, or courage to take your next step this conversation will light you up.
In this episode, we talk about:
How passion + purpose often go hand-in-hand (and can change over time)
Practical ways to negotiate your role or pivot without blowing up your whole life
Why social media is like a “billboard” (even when nobody comments)
How Nancy built monthly women’s events + an Inner Circle mastermind
The power of being in the room—and why it’s deeper than a friend group
Why your story is about you… but it’s not for you

What happens when your life feels like it’s falling apart—but God steps in and rewrites the whole story?
In this episode of The Angie Ambrosetti Show: Let Her Out to Play!, I sit down with Jessica Phillips—host of The Growth Lounge Podcast, legacy life coach, and a woman with one powerful redemption story. Jessica takes us back to upstate New York, where a high school love story, a long-distance Navy season, and deep personal pain collided with addiction… and then a miracle.
We talk about Jessica’s journey to sobriety while pregnant, the faith and support that helped her rebuild, and how she and her husband went from broken and broke to building a beautiful legacy over 31 years of marriage. Jessica also shares why community matters so much, how her podcast “brings the room to you,” and what it really looks like to heal without having to retell every detail of your trauma.
If you’ve ever thought, “I’m the only one,” or wondered if it’s too late to change your story—this one is for you.
In this episode, we cover:
A high school sweetheart love story with a twist (“the delivery girl” moment!)

Faith, family, and how healing reshapes generations
Why you don’t have to publicly relive trauma to experience real healing

Be prepared — this one may bring tears.
In today’s episode, I sit down with my sweet friend Laura Ard, host of Voice Unbound, Christian life coach, podcast editor, and one of the most resilient women I know.
Laura shares her beautiful love story — from surviving a painful divorce to meeting the man she knew she would marry… to building a 28-year marriage filled with adventure, faith, travel, and deep partnership.
But this conversation also walks through the hardest part: walking beside her husband Tim through cancer, heart failure, and ultimately saying goodbye.
We talk about:
Loving well through sickness
Grieving with faith
Building strength you didn’t know you had
Finding your voice after loss
And becoming who God is shaping you to be in the middle of heartbreak
This episode is about marriage, resilience, widowhood, entrepreneurship, identity, and what it means to trust God when life doesn’t unfold the way you hoped.
If you’ve ever lost someone, walked through caregiving, questioned your strength, or wondered who you’re becoming in this season… this one is for you.
Your story is about you.
But it’s not just for you!

In today’s vulnerable solo episode, I’m sharing a part of my story I’ve sat with for a long time: infidelity in my 37-year marriage and how God didn’t just help us survive—He redeemed us. This isn’t about perfection or “doing it right.” It’s about truth, responsibility, forgiveness, surrender, and a whole lot of grace.
I open up about the reality that betrayal happened in our marriage—and that I was unfaithful too—because healing can’t grow where there’s blame-shifting or denial. I share how those early years were tender and painful, how we had to stop keeping score, tell the truth even when it hurt, and choose forgiveness as obedience—over and over again. Most importantly, we invited the Lord into the mess “just as we were,” and He brought freedom where there used to be fear.
If you’ve walked through betrayal before—or you’re in it right now—please hear me: you’re not alone, you’re not crazy, and you’re not disqualified. Every situation is different, and there’s no one “right” path. My prayer is that this episode reminds you that God is near to the brokenhearted, and nothing surrendered to Him is ever wasted.
If this encouraged you, would you share Episode 31 with a friend who needs hope today?
Motivation is loud at the beginning…
but consistency is quiet, unglamorous, and powerful.
In Episode 30, Angie unpacks why lasting change has very little to do with motivation and everything to do with identity. This conversation is about what happens when you stop waiting to feel ready and start showing up — imperfectly, consistently, and on purpose.
Angie shares real-life reflections on building strength through repetition, why discipline grows through small daily decisions, and how the promises you keep to yourself shape who you become. From health and fitness to mindset, habits, and personal growth, this episode is a reminder that consistency doesn’t just change outcomes — it changes you.
You’ll hear about:
• Why motivation fades but consistency compounds
• How small daily actions create long-term confidence
• The link between discipline and identity
• Why keeping promises to yourself builds trust and momentum
• How to show up even when it’s uncomfortable or inconvenient
If you’ve ever thought, “I just need more motivation,” this episode may shift everything for you.
Because the truth is — consistency builds identity, and identity sustains change.
January is often treated like a magic reset button.
New year. New goals. New motivation.
But what if real change doesn’t come from a calendar at all?
In Episode 29, Angie shares why she didn’t wait until January to start strength training, even when it felt uncomfortable, intimidating, and imperfect. She opens up about consistency, discipline, aging without excuses, and why showing up before it feels convenient is where real momentum is built.
This episode also dives deep into the power of language — the quiet, everyday words we speak to ourselves that either move us forward or keep us stuck. Angie challenges common “absolute” phrases like always, never, I can’t, and I don’t have time, and explains how small shifts in wording can retrain your nervous system, strengthen your identity, and change your follow-through.
In this episode, you’ll hear about:
• Why January doesn’t create discipline — choices do
• How consistency beats perfection every time
• Why most people quit around day 21
• The mindset shift from “I can’t” to “I’m learning”
• How small, imperfect actions compound into massive change
If you’ve been waiting for the right time, the right season, or perfect conditions — this episode is your reminder that you don’t need a new year to start.
You just need a decision.
In this solo episode, I’m recording from the mountains of Georgia and sharing my personal journey with the carnivore-ish lifestyle — what it actually means, why I’ve been doing it for over three years, and why I don’t consider it a “diet.”
I break down:
Why I focus on one-ingredient foods (beef, eggs, butter, salt)
How removing sugar and ultra-processed foods changed my energy
The role protein and fat play in satiety and metabolic health
Why simplicity has been the key to long-term consistency
What my doctor said about my bloodwork after starting
Common misconceptions about red meat, salt, and cholesterol
I also share how this way of eating supports gut health, steady energy, mental clarity, and hormone balance — especially in midlife.
This isn’t about extremes or perfection. It’s about curiosity, experimentation, and listening to your body. There is no one-size-fits-all approach — but if you’re burned out on dieting, struggling with cravings, or just looking for a simpler way to fuel your body, this conversation may be for you.

CARNIVORE 75 HARD 2026Welcome to Carnivore 75 Hard with The Approachable Carnivore
In this special solo episode recorded on Christmas Day, Angie pops into the office with her husband (with sick kids at home) and decides it’s the perfect moment to pause and say thank you.
Since launching the podcast in June, Angie has shared 26 regular episodes (plus bonus episodes), and she’s overwhelmed—in the best way—by how many lives have been touched. She opens up about taking a three-week break, battling that old familiar perfectionism, and then realizing something powerful: people noticed… and they missed it.
Angie also shares a sweet recap of their unforgettable family Christmas—renting a cabin near Gatlinburg with all seven kids, spouses, and 14 grandkids, making memories at Dollywood, laughing through a legendary white elephant gift exchange, and soaking in the gift of togetherness.
And at the heart of it all, Angie brings it back to what matters most: Jesus. Because without Him—His birth, redemption, and resurrection—none of it has meaning.
This episode is a warm hug, a thank-you note, and a faith-filled reset as we head into a brand new year… with more coming in 2026.

In this heartfelt follow-up to the adoption series, Angie sits down to reflect on the incredible journey God has led her through—from raising seven children (four biological and three adopted) to walking through seasons of rebellion, redemption, and renewal in her marriage.
After interviewing her youngest son about his adoption story, Angie shares the profound moment that brought her to tears—his simple, powerful words of gratitude for his birth mother’s choice to give him life. That reflection leads Angie into a raw and deeply honest conversation about God’s love and faithfulness, even when we fall short.
In this solo episode, Angie opens up for the first time about the hidden battles behind her 37-year marriage—including multiple seasons of infidelity—and how God restored what was broken, three times over. Her message is one of radical grace, healing, and hope for anyone who has wondered if their story can be redeemed.
In this episode:
Reflections from interviewing her adopted sons
What her 17-year-old said that moved her to tears
Learning to see God’s love “in spite of myself”
Overcoming infidelity and finding restoration through faith
Why no story is too far gone for redemption
This is one of Angie’s most vulnerable and redemptive episodes yet—an invitation to believe that no matter how messy your story is, God can still make it beautiful.
In this powerful National Adoption Month episode, I sit down with my friend Jennie Landreth—adoptive mom, long-time pro-life advocate, and Development Director at Choices in Chattanooga.
Jennie shares the tender, behind-the-scenes story of adopting her daughter Abby:
the heartbreak of a disrupted first adoption
the brave birth mom who chose a “Plan B” out of deep love
how Jennie and her husband came to see adoption as a picture of God’s redemptive love
We also dive into the life-changing work happening at Choices—a crisis pregnancy center that:
meets women in crisis with compassion, not judgment
removes practical obstacles with ultrasounds, parenting classes, baby supplies, and real community
supports moms and dads long after the positive test
runs completely on donations (no state or federal funding), trusting God to provide every dollar
If you’ve ever wondered what adoption really looks like from the inside…
If your heart beats for unborn babies and their mamas…
Or if you’re curious how one local ministry is literally saving lives and rewriting family legacies—this conversation will move you deeply.
Grab a tissue, friend. 💛
