We all live in these incredibly miraculous machines that have an incredible ability to heal themselves, but most of us don’t know how to hear the messages our body gives us. Instead we’re moved from pillar to post in the mainstream medical system without ever being told what the underlying cause of our symptoms may be. Doctors only have a short time to assess a patient and prescribe a pill. So many times when someone consults with a natural health therapist who has time to listen and unravel their health story they ask – why hasn’t my doctor told me this?

Bill Gates on Covid Vaccines: Straight from the horse's mouth by ANH International

We’ve been on a collision course for around 20,000 years. The crash occurred at the start of 2020 – and it’s still ongoing. The casualty in the crash is human resilience. The consequence is that a not particularly virulent and only moderately contagious virus has wrought havoc upon us. Building resilience in our populations and ensuring our countries are run by enlightened people capable of making smart decisions in this time of crisis would be a huge asset in our emergence from the wreckage.

But it appears most of us can no longer rely on governments to make smart decisions. Most are too deeply intertwined with the corporates whose products have contributed to our loss of resilience, whether it’s junk, low fat, refined carb-based foods, over-prescribed drugs or digital tech that’s turned us into couch potatoes.

So we’ve made a short video that gives you a whistle stop, crash course through our last 20,000 years of history, looking at key events that impacted our resilience as well as previous pandemics.

Our hunter gatherer ancestors, armed with the thrifty genotype that we still carry with us today, may not have had long lives. But on the whole they had bucket loads of resilience or at least plenty of opportunity to rebuild it following episodes of resilience-busting stress.

Please help us get the word out to others that building resilience is our key defence, not only against coronaviruses, but also to help us cope better with the ‘new normals’ that are being hashed out by governments that have the potential to cause untold damage to individual and societal health, rights and freedoms.

Have the challenges and isolation of the past few months taken their toll on your brain health? Perhaps you’ve let your diet slip and indulged in foods you know aren’t good for you? In the UK we’ve been lucky and allowed to continue to exercise outdoors throughout lockdown, but other countries have had stricter rules which have severely impacted physical activity.

The solution, we believe, is simple, yet one that needs to be fought for. It’s vaccine transparency. Over the last 20 years of vaccine development, transparency policies established by vaccine makers and regulators have been unfit for their purpose. If we care about our future, we can’t let lack of transparency impede our fundamental right to informed consent.

This week we bring you our latest, new look coronacast – brought to you courtesy of the two new members of our media team – Mike Abbott and Ismail Faryad.

In it Rob Verkerk PhD take's you through some of the latest science on the covid pandemic - where we are on the pandemic wave when it comes to deaths and infection rates. We’re going to comment on the UK’s new one metre plus social distancing rule and an update on vaccines. Then we’ll look briefly at some of the unfolding science on the virus’ origins including the difficulty anyone might have to ridicule the idea that the virus originated from a lab.  Finally – we’ll look at the travesty of governments’ failures to get behind the things all of us can do with natural health to build our immune resilience. How about a few pence or cents a day on vitamin D at way higher levels than governments are suggesting – to potentially save thousands of lives.
