The Anime Intellectuals

In this episode, Jordan and Mark go over the anime they watched from Spring 2023 and give a little peek into what's to come next season.

I'm gonna put an interactable question on episodes from now on I think. For now, I'm gonna make it a suggestion for a show that we should review. The first suggestion we get, we will have to review no matter what.

Also this is Episode 30 now because the numbering system was bothering me.

Enjoy!

Well, yikes.

It's been like half a year or something and a lot has happened. Without getting into details, life is just rough sometimes and it just is what it is. But we're back on the grind with an incredibly scuffed episode. In this one, Mark reviews Denkigai and some other stuff and Jordan reviews Aura Battler Dunbine and some other stuff. Look, just listen to it and don't think about it. Also the intro is just gone for some reason and there were technical difficulties in the middle but we still say some words with a semblance of meaning at some point in these audio clips, so its still a podcast, right?

In this episode, Jordan and Mark go over the best and worst shows of the Summer 2022 season of anime. Is there anything worth watching in the midst of a sea of disappointment and repetitive other worldly storytelling?

Yeah. There's a few notable ones.

In this sort of one year anniversary special of the Anime Intellectuals Podcast, Mark and Jordan shake it up a little and do the exact same thing they've done every other episode: Go over irrelevant news poorly and then ramble through some stuff they watched in the time between episodes and try to say something interesting. In this one, Jordan talks about Cyberpunk Edgerunners, The Girl From The Other Side, Goodbye, Don Glees!, and Just Listen to The Song. Mark goes on about the show of many names, Oregairu, and also Blue Box. Thanks for listening to this for a whole year.
