Inspired by one of our viewers, Greg, and cohost Mike -- we'll be tasting and talking all things Armenian holiday foods! If you've listened to a recent episode of The Anna Report, you know that we somehow always end up talking and laughing about food. So it was only natural that we invite Greg over to The Anna Report and have a good ol' holiday feast live with everyone.
We're so lucky to have Verto's Kitchen catering all the delicious Armenian food for tonight' live show. Ani from Verto's Kitchen will be handing Greg Pulatian, Mike Gabriel, and Anna Vanessa Kachikyan different foods to taste. Then we will go on to talk about how we eat it, what we do and don't like about it, and of course a bit about its history (thanks to Google and our live audience).
People take food very seriously, but we ask that you tune in for entertainment and inspiration...not for the facts.

The topic on dating during the holidays was suggested by one of our regular listener, Ralph. We broke this topic into three parts, plus the bonus talk on gifting. First was if you've been dating this person between 3-6 months when the holidays come knocking. Then those people who just met right before the holidays. And finally, the people who meet during the holiday break. But the most heated debate hit when we got to talking about gift giving. I learned that receiving gifts from men during the holidays is very much like negotiating a major deal. You've got to start high aka expensive because it only goes up from there.

What are some poor dating habits that we're guilty of but completely unaware that we're doing it?! Going through a list of bad dating habits that some of us and all of us are guilty of doing. Anna Kachikyan and Mike Gabriel go through some of the most common and not so common habits that hinder us from possibly finding our soarmate.

After the show we randomly get into Armenian foods. Mike talks about his love for peroshky and karkandak. Then he goes onto drooling over blinchik. He prefers to dip his blinchik into spas. Spas is an Armenian soup made from yogurt.

Getting robbed during dates by people we meet from dating apps are becoming all too common. One google search on this and you'll be disappointed in humans (if you aren't already). I would think it's all too common to avoid this but I better not jinx myself. So instead, I recorded an episode based around this topic. I'll warn you though...some of this advice is going to sound like common sense to you but according to other humans, apparently it's not so common after-all!
Mike was not here during this episode. He went to the LA Rams football game.

Hi everyone my name is Anna Kachikyan and I'm the creator and host of The Anna Report. I got my start in television news and since then has gone on to pursue a career in digital media.
In late 2015, I left TMZ on TV and started The Anna Report in an effort to expand my repertoire and journalistic contributions. Through my social media presence, I started hosting a weekly live show offering modern day dating and relationship advice to my thousands of loyal viewers. Having been on screen and behind the camera in the formidable entertainment industry for so many years, I began to discuss topics that are central to the lives of my peers on a live platform with ease.
After doing the show by myself every week for four years, I knew it was time to make some changes. I was either going to completely stop and focus on The Armenian Report or I would find a co-host to do The Anna Report live show with me. For the first time in four years, I took a summer hiatus in 2019 only to find the best co-host right before the end of 2019 summer. Mike Gabriel is the perfect fit for the show!
I'm looking forward to seeing how well our collaboration is welcomed by our audience. Personally I think Mike is the perfect person for the show...but only time can tell. I hope to one day look back at this and reaffirm my intuition.
