Dr. Kasi is a clinical professor of surgery at the University of Stanford School of Medicine and has conducted research into advances in minimally invasive procedures for stroke prevention and aneurysm management. Dr. Kasi has been the investigator in over 40 multicenter studies involving new stent grafts, thrombectomy catheters, and other advances in endovascular technology. We’re joined by yet another legend in Vascular Surgery, Dr. Ken Ouriel! With over 3 decades of experience in clinical and academic research, Dr. Ouriel changed the world of Vascular Surgery as we knew it. At just 16 years old, Dr. Ouriel entered the University of Rochester to study biology and psychology and later graduated with honors from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. After completing his residency and fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center, he practiced until 1998 innovating along the way. Dr. Oriel also served as Chief of International Operations at New York-Presbyterian Hospital after which he started Syntactx.
