It’s been a while. I fall off and sometimes find myself in sad places mentally. Such overwhelming feeling of emotions. A lot of times I can not even explain. Guess what. It’s okay and I am okay with it.

I had to deal with the abandonment issue I had. It was crazy because I never thought that my father being incarcerated and my mom having to work 2 jobs all the time, would play a part in my adult life so negatively.

Self care to me meant PURCHASE! “Hurry up and buy”. Wrong.

Happy heavenly birthday to my Queen Lillie Mae Melton. She was one of the toughest Queens I know. It was hard talking about her. But she definitely gave me right many laughs. Shout out to a few other Queens of mine.

Recognizing your triggers is so important. As we enter into National Women’s let’s identify what triggers us in a negative way. Then let’s figure out ways to deal with these triggers. What helps. Medicine really didn’t work for me.

I use to be the one who said it but today I know people don’t get love shown to them daily. So yes, Valentines Day is a BIG deal. Why not share it on social media if that what YOU want.

Add moments to your schedule like you add meetings and important appointments. Life is so short all moments count.

Young adults still look for guidance from parents. How do we as parents distinguish between enabling and educating?

Do we really ever understand what it takes to be in a relationship/marriage for years? Being a wife, what does that mean? When I became a wife, I had NO clue what it meant.
