We got from the Apostles through the 1st century church.

• We highlighted the doctrinal formula/emphasis of the apostles teaching from Acts 2, and how the church fathers picked up on that (One, Holy, Universal, Apostolic church)

• We covered some early threats to the faith (Montanus, Marcion, Gnosticism) and how these heresies caused the church to be even more clear and strong on the deity of Christ and Canon of Scripture. Canon is where we'll pick up next week, with hopes to get through a couple more centuries of the church.
