Today, I want to take what we talked about last week and go one step deeper. Because writing the vision is powerful and running with the vision is inspiring, but the question becomes…what do you do when the vision is clear, but the timing is not?

That’s where Habakkuk 2:3 comes in.

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

The Lord speaks to Habakkuk and says the vision is yet for an appointed time. 

Many believers today view God’s promises as a straight line. Moving from Point A… the promise. To Point B… the fulfillment of that promise. 

But the Bible doesn’t show God’s promises and fulfillment as a straight line. 

But Scripture shows us that God moves in seasons. In stages. In a timeline.

So today, I will map out 5 phases every believer goes through while waiting for the appointed time and for the promise. And chances are you will find yourself in one of these phases.
