A Faith That Doesn’t Fail
Key Scripture
Luke 22:31–32 (KJV)
“Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.”
One of the things we eventually learn in our walk with God is that faith is easy when life is going well.
When prayers are being answered quickly,
when doors are opening,
when circumstances seem to cooperate with what we’re believing God for.
But the real question isn’t whether we have faith in comfortable seasons.
The real question is:
What kind of faith survives pressure?
In this moment with Peter, Jesus reveals something important.
He didn’t pray that Peter would avoid trouble.
He didn’t pray that Peter would escape the test.
Instead, He prayed something very specific.
“I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not.”
Which tells us something about the Christian life.
The goal isn’t simply to have faith.
The goal is to develop a faith that doesn’t collapse when life becomes difficult.
And today we are going to talk about 5 ways you can ensure that your faith does not fail.
