Hello! We're back for a third year of the apprentice track. Listen in on what we've been talking about so far this year. For more info on what's going on follow us @theapprenticetrack on instagram or visit our website: www.youngerleadershipcollege.org
Hello! We're busy getting ready for a new year and a new cohort for the apprentice track in year 3, starting in October. If you're interested in joining us go to www.youngerleadershipcollege.org or instagram.com/theapprenticetrack. In the meantime we thought we'd upload a few of our sessions from last year to give you an idea of the kind of thing that's in store. This session was really powerful - Thomas Dean and Chris Lane led us in thinking about what it means to live lives of hospitality, mission and stepping out. Enjoy!
Join us as Julia Weber from 24/7 Prayer talks through what a rule of life is, and why it is something we should think about adopting in our own lives. A rule of life brings order around our values, practices and relationships, to keep us open and available to God for the work of transformation only God can do.
In our final podcast on prayer, we have a chat with Amy Hughes about intercession - what it is, where to start, and what to do with some of our questions about this practice.
We hear from Anna Mason from KXC in London on the importance and the details of the practice of silence as followers of Jesus.
In this BONUS episode, James Halstead really helps us unpack why we should be praying the psalms as followers of Jesus. We chat about how they're *about* Jesus, we pray them *to* Jesus, and we pray them *with* Jesus. Do give this a listen before getting in to the practice this week!
In this conversation, James Halstead helps us understand a bit more of the 'why' of this week's practice of praying the psalms.
In this episode we chat to Jonny Hughes from Trinity Church Nottingham about the practice for the week; the prayer of examen.
