Maddie hit the new Demon Slayer movie....IN THE THEATER! Of course Matt couldn't accompany her since he's not caught up yet. But nevertheless, Maddie has thoughts.

We watched Shaun of the Dead! However, it's more a discussion of zombies and zombie movies in general. We explore several franchises and get ready to check out Romero's films this Halloween!

The Maze Runner saga continues with The Scorch Trials. Maddie and Matthew discuss influences, YA and sequel problems.

We head on a road tip to the Case Western Reserve University Film Society to catch their screening of Studio Ghibli's Castle in the Sky! It's one of the lesser known Ghibli films and we were both eager to see and discuss it. 

The problem is traffic. Traffic getting there, and traffic affecting out audio quality on the way home.  This one's going to be a little scratchy, but it's too good of a discussion to pass up!

Kpop Demon Slayers is the hottest thing on Netflix. But is it just a bubblegum and popcorn movie or something more?

We return to Akron Library's Geekfest! It's an all-ages, multi-fandom con with a heavy anime influence (but still one of the few places I can bring out a Star Trek costume too!) and one of out favorites.
