Seth Moody explains a few different ways in which you can mature in your relationship with God.

Linn Hise briefly shares a vision God had given her during worship. Pastor Mike Thomas reviews and continues the message he had begun the previous week. He reads the different accounts of the woman anointing Jesus' feet in spite of being criticized by those around her and reminding us of how her extravagant worship and sacrifice is remembered. He closes by giving examples of how we are to become a house of prayer.

Pastor Mike Thomas begins by giving a quick recap of the previous Sunday's service which featured the Resistance Youth from The Bridge Church, emphasizing the importance of gathering together and of having a relationship with God which leads to the desire for worship and prayer time. Pastor Mike continues by then focusing on a particular word that God had given to Pastor Tyler Anglin for The Ark. He reads the story of Mary and Martha, comparing many churches to Martha as they are worried about many superficial things but how, like Mary, spending time with Jesus is the one thing that can't be taken away from us.

Neal Moody briefly reviews the previous week's message by Pastor Mike about judgement while relating that to having accountability to others. He then gives scriptural references for some of our core beliefs as Christians from 1st Thessalonians and how the church tries to get results and display spiritual fruit without genuinely following God, proverbially putting the cart before the horse.

Pastor Mike Thomas reminds us of what God has spoken to The Ark over the past two years and that what God speaks to us never changes. He also delves into an aspect of Jesus that tends to be overlooked by many today, the fact that Jesus is also our judge. He focuses on the judgement of the church after the rapture, called the Judgement Seat of Christ and what it is.

Sandra Kovacs shares about her recent trip to Chattanooga, TN to join with others who pray and do spiritual warfare for the sake of our country. She shares a clip from the live stream that was on the Facebook page of Dutch Sheets ( www.facebook.com/DutchSheets22/videos/300528753876770/ ), starting near 1:45:00 or -0:33:26. She expounds upon what the youth in the video had spoken about, then prays over the congregation. Pastor Mike then adds his perspective on what Sandra had just spoken, as well as mentioning the previous day's shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh as a sign of the times.

Pastor Mike Thomas uses the temptation of Jesus by Satan to illustrate the power and authority of God's word and how Satan can quote the Bible, trying to cause doubt. He also tells about what happens when we receive the word of God as such.

Pastor Chuck Waldrup uses the parable about the barren fig tree to illustrate how God desires that we should bear fruit and how it doesn't happen on its own. He also reminds us that our purpose isn't revealed all at once, but is an evolving process. He notes how many Christians today seem to not want to find their purpose and produce spiritual fruit, but they would rather continue living as they desire, ignoring what God wants for them. He reminds us that God sees us as He intends for us to be in light of our purpose, not as we currently are. He concludes with the parable of the talents.

Pastor Mike Thomas speaks on one of the most basic, yet overlooked facets of Christianity, the power of the cross and how we are saved by faith, not by what we can do. He reiterates the importance and significance of the sacrifice made by Jesus for us while cautioning against fleshly thinking and legalism.

Pastor Mike Thomas begins by expressing his mixed feelings and thoughts about the remnants of Hurricane Florence, which were blowing through during the service, and touching on how the Holy Spirit helps us have an effective prayer life. He continues by reading about how God confounds the wisdom of this world with seemingly foolish things. Steve Smith picks up where Mike leaves off, touching on self-reliance as opposed to total reliance on God. He parallels what he reads with a study bible, which translates as closely as it can with the original Greek text, which shows that God has sent us a divine summons to have life in Christ. Steve speaks about the abundance of teachers and a lack of fathers within the Body of Christ, mentioning how some don't know about this as it has never been modeled before them within the church, publicly confessing his own shortcoming with one of his spiritual sons.
