  • 033 – The Whole Thing is a WhoTube
Never fear, dear listeners, we haven't forgotten about you! Between life happening and a decided lack of Doctor Who we needed some kind of inspiration for the podcast. Matt eventually hit upon just the thing by centering an entire episode around our "wildly popular" WhoTube segment! A two or three minute video would hardly suffice, so we called up the hearty three part "The Ten Doctors" (starting with part one here: http://youtu.be/_nCb3y4J850) by podcast favorite Babelcolour. We also cover a bit of Who news which is "wildly outdated," just without the sarcastic quotes.

  • 032 – The Grand Derailment
On this sort-of-regularly-scheduled podcast, we talk about the newest episode of Doctor Who! Which is what I would say if there was one. Instead, we use the (exceedingly) flimsy premise of series six prequels to deliver nigh on 30 minutes of some of our most random and vaguely related Who content. No musical breaks, no WhoTube, just pure unadulterated chatter! It's surprisingly entertaining, so give a listen, won't you?
Oops, totally lied about WhoTube, because here it is. This video's been making the rounds, and it's worth a watch: "Every Doctor Who Story 1963 to Now - A Babelcolour Tribute" http://youtu.be/iN5jPQdJXYE

  • 031 – Podcasty Wodcasty
Put on your podcast helmet and hunker down as we haul out the big guns for "The Doctor, the Widow, and the Wardrobe." Not three, not five, but four people delve into the Doctor Who Christmas special, including the previously-featured Dave and the not-previously-featured Scott! We make obscure (to me) references and unearth some deep (for us) meaning hiding in this latest episode. We also go off on more tangents than a trigonometry test, so grab a No. 2 pencil and be sure to completely fill in the bubble!
Those taking the WhoTube portion of the exam should brush up on "All I Want For Christmas Is Doctor Who" by DoctorDoggmatic: http://youtu.be/FiK-QOSlkZE
If you need extra credit, look into these songs featured on the podcast:
Murray Gold - "I am the Doctor" (Piano) (http://youtu.be/LKrt5IVXQ7k)
    Negativland - "Favorite Things"
    Bill Bailey - "Doctor Qui"

  • 030 – Let Him Drone, Let Him Drone, Let Him Drone
In this very special “Night Before Christmas” (literally) episode, Matt does the unthinkable task of doing the podcast solo! Listen as he reminisces about the previous Christmas specials. Will Matt be able to carry 25 minutes of podcast by himself? Will it be painfully obvious that Joseph is the very backbone to making this podcast fly? Tune in to find out!
WhoTube this week is "12 Regenerations of Christmas" by YouTube user manchildtrollhair: http://youtu.be/su6YA6dRd5Q

  • 029 – A Christmas Special Trailer Thing
Another year, another trailer for a Christmas episode of Doctor Who. As has become our wont, we pick apart the meager seconds worth of footage supplied for "The Doctor, the Widow, and the Wardrobe," and also make some offhand remarks about the somewhat awkward skit that preceded it. Throughout, we create a haphazard list of things that Steven Moffat has shamelessly ripped off. I mean, flashlights? Really? Like we haven't seen those before.
If you click on one link to this week's WhoTube from KimiMclarenFan called "It Feels Like Christmas - Doctor Who," make it this one: http://youtu.be/BLrxvKrijgU

  • 028 – Everything You Know Is Wrong
Another podcast is in the can! No, not the trash can, the audio-file... can? What does that expression even mean? No time for etymology, we've got a real humdinger of a show for you this week in which we get around to covering the series six finale, finally. Finalelly. We also master the proper use of regular musical breaks, only a year and change after starting this charade.
On the WhoTube front Matt offers up "The Doctor and River - Time After Time" by GuardianJupiter: http://youtu.be/2TA37LZ7dOQ
Song-wise, the complex structures inside your ears were vibrated by:
    The Weakerthans - Time's Arrow
They Might Be Giants - Destination Moon
    Rush - Time Stand Still

  • 027 – Baby Bottle Episode
For better or worse we try something a little different this week. No, not recording while sober, opening with a skit! After that it's business as usual, i.e. talking about a Doctor Who episode that aired weeks ago. I hope you've found a friend, because it's "Closing Time," and the hapless lodger Craig is back for shenanigans with the Doctor.
Here, Matt wanted you to have this WhoTube from Babelcolour. It's called Doctor Who Tribute: What About Everything: http://youtu.be/ceoV-YLAs4E
You will never guess what song we used this week. Now finish your whiskey or beer.

  • 026 – The Complex Degrees of the Van Helsing Key
You know the hardest part of podcasting isn't the recording or the editing, it's writing this description. Right here. It's taken me what seems like forever. So while those other podcasts just slap up introductory text willy-nilly, we here at the Arrow of Time prefer a slow and steady approach, even if it means being... two weeks behind!? Okay, that's a bit excessive even for us. No more rambling. Dave returns once again this week as we dissect "The God Complex" far more than it is dissectable, probably.
Matt was greedy this week and submitted two WhoTube videos, that rapscallion. In no particular order they are "Doctor Who (Fan Made Tribute) Hurricane" at http://youtu.be/Lzh9qZR85og and "Doctor Dumb 5: Worst Cliffhanger EVER" at http://youtu.be/bfRsCciTxXc.
Finally, we have a very special musical intermission this week. Wait, no we don't, I just sort of randomly chose "Coffee Break" by the UbseyMovies guys: http://youtu.be/gZoAEA-aipM.

  • 025 – Monster in a Bottle
A year of podcasts! And they said it couldn't be done (no one actually said this). We return to simpler times and shorter episodes this week as we cover "Night Terrors" and "The Girl Who Waited," all while not reminiscing all that much about our one year podcast anniversary. Seriously, we mention it maybe twice.
If Tubes of Who are your thing, you can watch this video chosen by Matt and typed by me onto this website: http://youtu.be/Me7E253-qBM

  • 024 – Let’s Ignore Hitler
Podcast guest Dave returns this week to help us discuss causes of World War II and the historical ramifications of -- just kidding, we talk about the Doctor Who episode "Let's Kill Hitler." Had you going there for a second, didn't I? No? Well, to be fair, we talk about quite a lot of other stuff besides the episode, so maybe some history bits snuck in there after all. There's only one way to find out! (Hint: that's listen to the podcast.)
Our fancy-free WhoTube is from frabjousfilms and comes recommended by no less than Steven Moffat himself, so take a look/listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2rfTR1PJkk
