Today's episode is a visceral essay about a very honest and raw experience I came face to face whilst in the depths of my anorexia. I consider it essential to add a trigger warning and encourage you to seek another one of my podcasts if you are in a vulnerable state of mind.
From this episode, I intend to spread awareness of the truth of anorexia, there is no sugar coating at all. From this essay, I aimed to put the listener in the same shoes an anorexia sufferer, this may be very distressing and alarming. But from what I've learnt in the past few years is that true growth happens when you embrace the uncomfortable. So buckle up and get ready to dive into the mind of an anorexia sufferer.
Bonus episode: Mackenzie talks about the painful past and the damage her anorexia caused to her childhood friendships.
Hey guys I'm back at it again! And yes, Corona is back too.

Have a wonderful day and enjoy:)
Something different for today's episode but something relevant. Grateful to be back behind the mic!
Keto, Paleo and Atkins, we have all been captivated by the quote on quote “socially acceptable” bodies and health benefits these dangerous diets promise. For us with eating disorders, exposure to advertisement of these diets can be particularly triggering, especially those who are in recovery. But look no further, because I call bullshit. Society glorifies fad diet industries and treats diet influencers like gods on earth, little do they know the devil behind the mask.
