Sandra's journey in the tech world began as a java/DevOps developer. She was on the verge of completing her MBA when JP Morgan Chase recognized her incredible potential. Invited to a recruiter event for minority technologists, Sandra accepted a role as a Scrum Master of an S E (Site Engineering) team. Remarkably, even before her first official day on the job, she became a Certified Scrum Master. For two years, Sandra led teams in production support, spearheading efforts to enhance agility and implement automation, non-functional requirements, and SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) best practices.

In January 2020, Sandra's career took a significant leap as she assumed the role of Product Manager/Owner of a team responsible for developing APIs and integration services for the reliability engineering group. Her impact was swift and substantial. Within a matter of months, she was also entrusted with the role of Product Owner for the Operational Excellence team. This team's mission is to ensure that all platforms are secure, reliable, scalable, and dependable, accomplished through the implementation of Agile, SRE, and DevOps best practices.

In 2021, Sandra's leadership and expertise were further recognized when she was appointed as Vice President and Product Manager for JP Morgan Chase's API Marketplace. In this pivotal role, she guides the vision, roadmap, and implementation for the API Marketplace and Gateway Platform, aiming to deliver best-in-class solutions. Sandra oversees the API marketplace portfolio, driving continuous innovation and technology modernization to enhance security, reliability, and performance. Furthermore, she actively mentors, develops, and leads her direct reports and teams, empowering them to advance their skillsets and achieve their career aspirations.

Carolina's story of entrepreneurship is one characterized by vision, perseverance, and a deep understanding of her target audience.

The genesis of Tragos can be traced back to a heritage trip to Colombia, where Carolina connected with her now-business associate, John Lim. Their shared passion for cultural exploration led to the inception of an Asian party game, Azn Flush. Carolina's background in Communication Design from Parsons, The New School, allowed her to craft the game's captivating packaging. However, she soon realized the need to create a product specifically tailored for Latinx consumers, a community close to her heart.

The game's popularity surged when a Tragos-related post went viral, propelling daily orders from a mere 10 to a staggering 5,000 in just one week. Carolina, determined and honest in her approach, expanded her operations to meet the demand. Her customers appreciated her transparency and were willing to wait for a cultural product that resonated deeply with them.

Carolina's achievements were further recognized when she was named one of Forbes' 30 Under 30. She not only leads Tragos' product development but also spearheads partnership initiatives. Today, the game boasts expansion packs and a family-friendly version called Get Loud, catering to a broader audience without the need for alcoholic beverages.

Carolina remains grounded, viewing Tragos as a small business and remaining agile to pivot when needed. While the game initially launched on Shopify and now thrives on Amazon, she aspires to see it on retail shelves in the future. Simultaneously, she continues to explore diverse revenue models, including events, collaborations, and speaking engagements.

For Carolina, Tragos is not merely a drinking game but a medium to connect with cultural touchstones. Her customers attest to the game's significance, and she envisions even greater things ahead, all while remaining deeply attuned to her culture and her customers' needs.

As a recently reluctant CEO, Carolina's transformation into a passionate leader is a testament to the rewards of entrepreneurship. She now leads an all-female, Latinx remote team, including some friends, challenging the notion that business and friendship shouldn't mix. Elizabeth's journey is deeply rooted in her family's immigrant experience, which instilled in her a profound passion for helping others, especially those in ethnic and underserved communities. From an early age, she observed her parents tirelessly pursuing the "American Dream" through hard work, entrepreneurship, and unwavering determination. Their actions modeled purpose and ambition, encouraging Elizabeth to dream big, and dream she did.

As she grew, that determined little girl pursued higher education at the University of La Verne, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Marriage & Family Therapy. During her academic journey, she delved into holistic approaches and somatic techniques, seeking dynamic ways to serve the mental health community beyond traditional talk therapy. It was during this exploration that she encountered EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a transformative therapy designed to identify and heal triggers in individuals who have experienced PTSD, various forms of trauma, and emotional distress. The more she learned, the more she began to heal from the challenges she faced growing up in an ethnic background. This personal growth fueled her commitment to internships in the BIPOC community and underserved areas of California.

Following graduation, Elizabeth's dream crystallized into a clear vision. She married her husband, who shared a profound philosophy: "Calidad," which means quality in Spanish. He inspired her to take a leap of faith, and after years of serving their local communities, she established her own private practice in 2019. Along the way, mentors, colleagues, and clients provided her with invaluable perspectives that continue to shape her journey.

Today, Elizabeth's impact extends beyond her private practice. She now offers EMDR Consultations and Private Practice Consultations to support her fellow professionals. In a creative collaboration, she's also part of "Cafecito y Calidad," a dynamic and highly caffeinated podcast that features engaging discussions with various experts and holistic specialists in the Mental Health field.

Elizabeth's journey has not only been years in the making but also years in dreaming and envisioning. Her hope is to continue pursuing education, advocating for systems of change, and adding a little more "Calidad" into the lives of all who need it most. Charly's story is nothing short of remarkable. A formerly undocumented immigrant born in Morelia, Mexico, they embarked on a challenging journey to the United States at a young age. Their path was filled with hurdles, but it shaped their determination to help others in their community build wealth and achieve their life goals.

Leaving behind a career as a stockbroker, Charly dedicated themselves to becoming a full-time money coach with a singular mission: to eliminate the wealth gap and empower individuals to make transformative money moves. Their clients, once burdened by guilt and anxiety about money, find themselves empowered and ready to play more in life.

Growing up, Charly inherited scarcity beliefs from their parents, but instead of succumbing to financial anxiety, they chose to educate themselves about money. They began by sharing budgeting and credit card tips with friends, and their journey eventually led them to the world of investing. Despite working in the typical 9-5 job, Charly realized they weren't being compensated fairly and didn't even have a solid retirement plan until age 29.

Charly's desire to secure their future without sacrificing present happiness led them on a transformative journey. While backpacking through Latin America and listening to personal finance podcasts, they discovered their passion for helping people like them build wealth. They recognized that the current financial system disproportionately benefits certain groups, while BIPOC and queer communities are left behind.

Today, Charly has transformed their own mindset from scarcity to financial comfort and is dedicated to helping their clients do the same. They work to expand mindsets, address inherited money trauma, combat lifestyle creep, and align investments with clients' present and future aspirations, all while achieving financial security along the way.
