The Art of Taking Action with Gregg Krech

Listen Later

There are people who know peace and introspection profoundly.  Gregg Krech is one of those people.  He is the author of many books, one of which is The Art of Taking Action: Lessons from Japanese Psychology.  Drawing on Eastern philosophy, Buddhism, Morita therapy, Naikan and Kaizen, Gregg offers an approach to ACTION that guides you to doing what is important for you to do in the time you have left.

He is equally well know as the founder of the ToDo Institute in Monkton Vermont.  Here he helps people become aware of the true story of their lives, the one of gratitude and purpose.  In his week long seminars, nestled in 100 acres of pristine conservation land, he demonstrates to students, how to disconnect from the distractions that keep them form understanding the difference between their true life story and the made up one they often bring with them to the hills of Vermont.

As the creator of 30,000 Days blog, he writes and espouses the simplicity and beauty in living fully in the moment.
