The Art of the Playlist

Artists give tribute to those who came before them through cover songs. Christian, Robert, and Patty explore those covers that inspire and thrill, and discuss some clunkers, too. The result? Playlists, for you, that are more cool than cheesy.

Welcome to "Party Starters," where our trio of DJs - Robert, Patty, and Christian - dive into the art of getting people to awkwardly shuffle onto the dance floor. With playlists that span from Montell Jordan to AC/DC, they explore the delicate balance of not scaring grandma away while still keeping the cool kids entertained. Tune in for a masterclass in musical nostalgia and the occasional existential crisis about what constitutes a "modern" hit.
