We ramped up slowly on this episode, as befitting a retired, poetic Dave and one doing a 12-day simulated retirement. Apparently—in Madeira Beach, anyway—it's hard to avoid Allman Brothers Band former roadies who hang out at the 7-11, awaiting the occasional comedian-on-vacation, eager to swap stories about life on stage…or near it.
