Thriving in life is deeply connected to the quality of our relationships, and healthy relationships require ongoing effort, not autopilot. Relationships must be continually practiced, refined, and nurtured – especially through communication. Jesus modeled healthy communication through empathy, presence, and intentional listening, even in interruptions. The challenge is to grow as “relational artists”, because when we stop working on our relationships, they stop working too.
