You're sharing your expertise, creating content and perhaps even experimenting with video. But is any of it actually helping you attract the right clients?
It's easy to become distracted by views, followers and the pressure to keep posting. Yet the real opportunity is to create content that helps future clients understand your value, trust your approach and recognise when you're the right expert for them.
That's why I've invited Martin Huntbach, co-founder of Vidonary, to join me on The Art of Value Whispering Podcast.
Martin and his wife, Lindsay, have spent years using content to attract better-fit clients and support business growth. In this conversation, we explore what they've learnt and how you can apply those lessons without turning content creation into another overwhelming marketing task.
We explore:
Why some of your most valuable content might actually discourage the wrong clients from working with you.
How to measure content success beyond views and followers.
Martin's Three Rs for creating video consistently: Reps, Rhythm and Repurposing.
How video can build trust and support the whole client journey.
Why experienced experts sometimes struggle to communicate what they know.
How to make video more conversational, engaging and human.
Through a Value Whispering perspective, we also explore why becoming the obvious choice isn't about reaching everyone. It's about helping the right people recognise and understand your value.
If you've been wondering how to create content that contributes to your business rather than simply filling your social media feed, this conversation is for you.

How do you know if you've found the right niche? And what happens when your best clients have very little in common on paper, people outside your niche keep asking to work with you, or your business genuinely includes several different ways of helping people? In this special listener panel episode of The Art of Value Whispering Podcast, I'm joined by business owners with real questions about what niching looks like once you move beyond the theory. Together, we explore why you don't need absolute certainty before choosing a niche, why demographics aren't always the most meaningful connection between your Dream Clients, how to decide whether an opportunity outside your niche is worth pursuing, and why a diversified portfolio doesn't necessarily mean you don't have a niche.
You'll discover: • The difference between clarity and certainty when choosing your niche • What to niche around when your best clients look completely different on paper • Why relevance matters more than simply becoming narrower • What to do when opportunities keep appearing outside your stated niche • Whether it's possible to have more than one niche • How to find the common thread in a diversified portfolio • Why your niche should evolve as you learn more about yourself, your clients and your best work Because your niche isn't a box that dictates what you're allowed to do. It's a way of becoming clearer about where you can create real value – so the right people can recognise why you're the right choice for them.

Struggling to find your niche – or worried that choosing one will box you in, limit your opportunities or mean turning away perfectly good clients?
You may be starting in the wrong place.
Most traditional advice about niching starts with who: Who is your ideal client? What industry are they in? How old are they? Where do they live?
Those things can be useful to know. But they don't answer a much more important question:
Why should those people choose you?
In this episode of The Art of Value Whispering Podcast, I'm sharing a different way to think about finding your niche – one that starts with understanding you.
We'll explore how your expertise, experience, strengths, values, beliefs and approach align with what particular clients really need and value – and how finding that point of alignment can make your significance much clearer.
I also share the story of one of my earliest Value Whispering clients, Kate, and how understanding what really made her approach to teaching different helped her attract more of the right clients, recognise the wrong ones and transform her business.
In this episode, you'll discover:
Why starting with demographics can make finding your niche harder
The question that's missing from many traditional niching exercises
Why your niche doesn't necessarily need to be based on an industry or demographic
How your Value Sweet Spot can help you recognise where you do your best work
Why understanding who isn't your Dream Client can be just as valuable as knowing who is
What happened when Kate became clearer about why the right parents chose her
Why becoming more specific can sometimes attract opportunities from outside your niche
How understanding your Dream Clients can make your marketing feel more natural
Why you don't need to find the "perfect" niche before moving forward
Because niching isn't about making yourself smaller.
It's about making your significance clearer.

How do you build a personal brand that helps people remember, trust and recommend you - without feeling as though you're constantly promoting yourself?
In this episode, I talk with personal brand strategist Bob Gentle about a more human approach to becoming known for your expertise.
Bob's philosophy is simple: "I'm there to serve, not to convert."
Together, we explore what happens when you stop treating every piece of content as an opportunity to sell and instead use your ideas, relationships and personality to give people reasons to know and trust you.
You'll discover:
• How to build a personal brand without creating an online persona • How much of your expertise you should give away for free • Why "people don't pay for information, they pay for implementation" • How content can help people remember you when an opportunity or referral arises • Why your existing professional network may be more valuable than constantly looking for new people • How being more genuinely yourself can make you easier to trust and refer
I also explore the conversation through the Value Whispering® principle of Recognition Before Reach: before focusing all your energy on finding more people, make sure the right people already understand and remember your value.
If you want to become better known for what you do without making self-promotion a full-time job, this conversation offers a refreshingly different place to start.

What if the reason people aren't choosing you isn't because you need more expertise, but because the expertise you already have has become harder to explain?
There's a strange paradox that can happen as you become more experienced. You see more nuance, more possibilities and more of the factors that influence whether something will work. Your answer is increasingly, "It depends."
Meanwhile, someone offering a much simpler solution, with less experience and expertise than you, may be easier for a potential client to understand – and therefore easier to choose.
The answer isn't to dumb down your expertise.
It's to make its value easier for the right people to recognise.
In this solo episode of The Art of Value Whispering podcast, I explore:
Because your clients don't need to understand everything you know. They need to understand what everything you know makes possible for them.
Listen next: Episode 315 — Why Brilliant Experts Struggle to Attract Clients (and Why It's Probably Not for the Reason You Think), where I explore the Value Recognition Problem and why what looks like a marketing problem can sometimes begin much earlier.

If your business isn't as profitable as you'd like, you might assume you need more clients.
But what if attracting more clients could actually make the problem worse?
For many coaches, consultants and service-based experts, the real issue isn't how many clients they're attracting. It's that their expertise has been priced around hours, sessions and what feels comfortable to charge – rather than the value of the outcome they create.
My guest today is my good friend Robin Waite, business coach and author of Fearless Pricing. Together, we explore what needs to change when you stop selling your time and start thinking more deeply about value, profitability and the business you actually want to build.
Why This Conversation MattersPricing and Value Whispering are more closely connected than they might first appear.
You can tell yourself to raise your prices, but if you're unclear about the value behind them, standing confidently behind that new number can be difficult.
And simply doubling your prices doesn't automatically make your offer more valuable.
Robin's approach takes the conversation further – connecting your price to the outcome you create, the way you package your expertise, the clients you choose to work with and the experience you're able to give them.
Because your price is part of how you communicate your value – but it can only do that effectively when the value behind it is clear, credible and consistently experienced.
In this episode, you'll discover:• Why more clients can make an unprofitable business even harder to run
• Why selling packs of hours isn't the same as packaging your expertise around an outcome
• A simple calculation to test whether your current pricing can support the business you want
• Why discounting may cost considerably more than the percentage you take off your price
• What "you're too expensive" might really be telling you
• Why silence can be one of the most useful things you bring to a sales conversation
• How Robin's 30/30/30 approach can help you test a new price without allowing one rejection to determine your strategy
This episode is for you if:• You suspect you're undercharging but feel uncomfortable increasing your prices
• You're busy with clients but your business still isn't as profitable as you'd like
• You price your services by the hour, day or session and aren't sure how to move beyond that
• You find yourself discounting or over-explaining when a potential client questions your price

If you're good at what you do, but marketing your business still feels harder than it should, it's easy to assume you need a better strategy, more visibility or simply more time.
But what if the piece that's missing comes before all of that?
In this special episode, I'm taking you back to the beginning of Value Whispering® by reading the first chapter of my bestselling book: Value Whispering: The Smarter Way to Market Your Small Business.
You'll hear the story that first helped me recognise what so many brilliant business owners are missing, why communicating your offer isn't enough if people don't understand its value, and how Value Whispering grew into a different way to think about marketing, sales and business growth.
In this episode, you'll hear:
why doing more marketing isn't always the answer when attracting clients feels hard
the conversation that led me to uncover the missing piece in so many small businesses
what Value Whispering actually means
the three pillars of the Value Whispering Blueprint: True Value, Value Weaving and Self-Leadership
why great marketing begins with understanding your clients and the value you create for them
how to become the obvious choice without becoming louder, pushier or someone you're not
why your best marketing strategy is one that works with your strengths, values and ambitions
Think of this episode as your starting point for the new season of The Art of Value Whispering and the ideas we'll be exploring together in the weeks ahead.

🎙️ Why Brilliant Experts Struggle to Attract Clients (and Why It's Probably Not for the Reason You Think)
with Melitta Campbell | The Art of Value Whispering Podcast (Episode 315)
What if the reason you're struggling to attract more clients isn't your marketing at all?
Many brilliant experts assume they need a better strategy, more visibility or another marketing tactic. But after working with hundreds of business owners, I've found that the real challenge often starts much earlier.
It's not a marketing problem.
It's a Value Recognition Problem.
In this episode, I introduce the Five Value Gaps that quietly stop people recognising your value and explain why attracting the right clients starts long before your marketing strategy.
This episode explores one of the core principles of Value Whispering: when people don't fully understand the value of your work, no amount of marketing can consistently solve the problem. Greater clarity—not louder marketing—is what creates lasting business growth.
In this episode, you'll discover:If this episode changes the way you think about marketing, follow The Art of Value Whispering Podcast and share it with another expert who needs to hear it.

🎙️The Storytelling Mistake That's Costing You Clients
with Sophie Jane Lee | The Art of Value Whispering Podcast (Episode 314)
Your story doesn't need to be more polished.
It needs to feel more true.
Many experts struggle with storytelling because they're searching for the perfect words. But the real challenge often starts much earlier: we've become so used to editing ourselves that we've forgotten how to trust our own voice.
In this episode, storytelling strategist, founder of Electric Peach and author of Beyond Palatable, Sophie Jane Lee explores why the stories we tell ourselves shape the stories we're willing to share—and how greater self-trust leads to more authentic communication, stronger relationships and deeper impact.
The Value Whispering ConnectionOne of the core principles of Value Whispering is that people connect with clarity, not performance. Sophie reminds us that the most compelling stories aren't carefully crafted to impress—they're grounded in genuine experiences that help others see the value of who you are and the work you do.
In this episode, you'll discover:If this conversation resonates with you, follow The Art of Value Whispering Podcast and share it with another expert who's ready to communicate their value with greater confidence.

🎙️ The Real Reason You Keep Second-Guessing Yourself with Ruth Andermatt | The Art of Value Whispering Podcast (Episode 313)
Have you ever felt as though you need to be more confident, more outspoken or more visible to succeed?
It's an easy belief to fall into, especially when we're surrounded by examples of leadership that seem louder, faster and more assertive than feels natural.
But what if authentic leadership isn't about becoming someone else?
What if it's about trusting yourself enough to lead in a way that feels true to who you are?
In this episode of The Art of Value Whispering Podcast, I'm joined by leadership coach Ruth Andermatt to explore why self-leadership is the foundation of authentic leadership.
Drawing on her experience as the only female director leading a team of 70 men in corporate Canada, Ruth shares the lessons she's learnt about trusting your intuition, leading with integrity and helping others succeed without compromising who you are.
Together, we explore why so many women feel they need to perform rather than lead, how to reconnect with your own strengths, and why coming home to yourself can transform not only the way you lead, but the way you build your business too.
This isn't a conversation about becoming louder.
It's about becoming more intentional.
Leading with quiet confidence.
And recognising that the qualities you've been overlooking may be the very ones your team, your clients and your business need most.
