On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek previews the Museum of Contemporary Art’s new Virgil Abloh exhibit. Titled FIGURES OF SPEECH, the exhibit takes a comprehensive look at the designer’s remarkable journey from architecture student to the director of menswear for Louis Vutton. Later in the program, a look at two upcoming Chicago Symphony Orchestra programs, contributor Dennis Polkow sat down with Maestro Riccardo Muti. Gary talks to the co-founders of a Chicago film organization that’s dedicated to creating a more diverse cinema landscape. And the Dueling Critics, Kerry Reid and Jonathan Abarbanel, will join me to talk about a new production of an older play titled FOR SERVICES RENDERED.
