In episode 5, host Wendy John chats with Michelle Miller. Michelle started her career in business, as a consultant in New York and Europe and as an associate in the Silicon Valley office of JP Morgan's Private Bank. During that time, she started writing pseudonymously, including several viral essays, copy for a high-end sex toys company, and a Young Adult series under the pen name Sadie Hayes (Social Code & The Next Big Thing; St. Martin's Press, 2012). She finally quit finance to serialise and then publish her debut novel, THE UNDERWRITING (Penguin, 2015), which was published in 20 languages and whose television adaptation she also wrote for Fox. 

Jen Campbell is an award winning poet and short story writer. She is a recipient of an Eric Gregory Award and won the Jane Martin Poetry Prize.
