Key Thoughts:

• Jesus' disciples didn't recognize the significance of His interaction with the Samaritan woman. He told them to "open your eyes and look at the fields (ripe for harvest)".
• We must value people (connecting with people)
• We must add value to people (influencing people)
• According to John Maxwell, we must overcome and help people to understand the correct view of God. He is not a locked gate, where He cannot be reached. God is not a garbage can, where God doesn't want us. God is not and endless ladder, where He requires never-ending climbing.
• God is a free gift.

Scripture: Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15, John 20:21, John 4:27-35, Acts 16:9, Romans 15:1 MSG

Key Thoughts:

• The lost were and are the priority of Jesus.
• May we be an invitational church that invite people to Jesus, and invite people to church.
• Evangelism is joining Jesus where He is already working.
• A quote from Eugene Peterson pointing out that salvation isn't a impersonal cause or project, but is meant to happen from personal relationship.
• Statistics from a Barna report stating that most Christians believe that part of their faith means being a witness about Jesus and that the best thing that could ever happen to a person is for them to know Jesus.
• Statistics from a Barna report stating that 47% of Millennials agree at least somewhat that it is wrong to share one's personal beliefs with someone of a different faith in hopes that they will one day share the same faith.

Key Thoughts: Celebration is a choice. Reset with Simple Celebration, Strategic Celebration, Redemptive Celebration. Celebrate out of victory because Jesus already won the victory.

Scripture: Zephaniah 3:17 NIV, Matthew 22:1-2 NIV, James 1:2-8 NIV, Numbers 9:1-3 NIV, Numbers 9:13 NIV

Key Thoughts: Resetting our Passion for God by resetting our cravings. Staying hungry for the Presence of God. The Israelites in the desert, while being cared for by the miraculous power of God, craved their old foods, forgetting that in their old lives they were also slaves.

Scripture: Numbers 11:4-6 NIV, Numbers 11:14 NIV, Numbers 11:9 NIV, Numbers 11:17 NIV
