Then, we explore some of the different aspects of the Tree of Life from a Qabalistic perspective. He goes on to explain some of the meanings of the Hebrew letters and the 4 Qabalistic worlds. We go down the rabbit hole and chat about some of the symbolism in Alice in Wonderland and The Matrix. Towards the end, he expands on the significance of the different degrees of initiation, along with the allegory of the dying and rising god.

We begin by exploring some of the oldest Halloween traditions from cultures all over the world, along with what exactly they are each celebrating. We discuss how there is uniformity in this time of observance scattered among them across the globe. We explore how the Pleiades plays into this and the connection they share with the great deluge, or cataclysm. We also get into the significance of “the thinning veil”. Towards the end we discuss some ways we can tap into our folk mentality and imagination when celebrating this sacred time of year.

Episode 59 features a conversation with Gary Coppola. He starts by sharing some background on himself, his spiritual journey, and how his love for martial arts and eastern philosophy has carried with him throughout his life in a variety of metaphysical practices. Episode 58 features a conversation with Kimberly Haliburda in which we discuss the law of attraction and some practical ways to work with it. She explains a bit about spiritual bypassing and why our thoughts have to be backed with action for manifesting to work. We talk about how things like imposter syndrome can potentially have a limiting effect on attraction and then some ways to move beyond it. We go into how belief plays an important role in manifesting. Towards the end she gives some advice for people who may not be getting immediate results and how prosperity can look different for each individual.

Episode 57 features a conversation with my husband Justin. This is part two of two on Hermeticism and The Kybalion, a book that examines the 7 Hermetic Principles. We begin with a discussion about “The All” and how it leads to the concept that the Universe is mental. We then spend some time going over each of the principles in order. We share the way the book defines each principle and then try to find relatable ways to ground them in our present time to help us understand and work with them in a deeper, realistic way. At the end we share where to find resources on the subject including a spectacular documentary on The Kybalion by Mitch Horowitz.

We start with the history of where this wisdom springs from including who Hermes Trismegistus was and some of the myths around Thoth and Hermes. We explore Marsilio Ficino’s life and works, and the role he played in keeping the flame of this ancient wisdom alive. We talk about the Cult of Serapis and some similarities it has to Jesus’s death and resurrection. We also discuss why we feel this information has been hidden from the masses.
