In this episode, I have a conversation with two landscape designers, Jo Salmon and Bettina Baschy as a way of deepening our understanding of the wisdom of Taurus season. They both articulate the experiences of being in and working with the garden, not only as an artistic expression, but also as a way to enjoy the 5 senses, create privacy, play with color/texture/height/sound, boost the immune system, and invite life into your yard. Whether you are into gardening or not, their descriptive language will transport you into a calm, relaxed and grounded state of being.

In this episode, I have a conversation with the program director at Beyond Conflict, Jazzy Ramsey. We explore the wisdom of Taurus as a strategy for selfcare and community building in the face of political unrest. We look at the current administration and their strategic use of, “Shock and Awe,” to target the nervous system. We explore the unforeseen consequences of the cancel culture, the current issues of isolation, conflict resolution, and lastly joy as resilience and resistance.
Remembering that Taurus energy combats attacks on the nervous system as the earth sign that supports us in being able to ground through the 5 senses. It reminds us that it’s okay to take breaks, rest and nourish ourselves and others. It is the stubborn and enduring bull that can sustain in a movement.
