The Attack of the B-Movies

This one time, a long time ago in a city far away we did a live podcast from Joilet Illionois' Star Wars Days. It was a great time and its grown every year since then and I highly recommend checking it out! Here's part 1

This time around I talk about what I think is one of the most original horror films ever. A film that created an iconic villain who even non fans know. Is he really a villain though, depending on your view maybe not. Enjoy!

Before Team America World Police director David Schmoeller and writer Charles Band brought us a story of marionettes that just wanted to be loved......and murder.

Take a solid plot, a great director and a wrestler that came to chew gum and kick butt and is all out of gum and you get a fantastic B-Movie about an alien invasion and how the world might not always be what we see. While it's one of John Carpenters best, Roddy Piper and Keith David are damned good in it as well.....oh and did we mention the fight scene between the two?

Of all the movie remakes throughout the last, oh I don't know, 80 years? Some stand out as better than the original. The 1986 David Cronenberg classic The Fly is one of them. Plus come on, Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis were fantastic in this one as well. So take a listen and enjoy!

This episode we're just talking about Who, enjoy!

Join Jimmy as he finishes off his Star Wars Celebration 7 adventure!

What happens when you mix Adam West, Tia Carrere, the music of Motorhead and a touch of voodoo? You get 1987's Zombie Nightmare, a movie that isn't West's best work and could really have used more Tia. Enjoy!

Our intrepid co-host Jimmy made it to Celebration 7 and was good enough to record some of the adventure including some interviews with fans and maybe a few surprises.
