This week we spoke to our new friends The Dawns, an up-and-coming band made up of four mates with a collective passion for music. 

They took us through their journey from starting out as an intermediate school acapella group to playing Soundsplash all while still in High School! These girls are a force to be reckoned with and a band you should all keep a close eye on.

This week we're bringing in the big guns... Yes, it's The Boss himself, Stanley Henry, founder & MD of The Attention Seeker. 

And now founder at The Attention Seeker Studios! This year, after realising the gap in the market around quality studio experiences, he and his partner Claire took on the massive task of creating the space and the product to meet that demand. 

The result is a studio aimed toward experience, luxury and COFFEE. As the construction ties up and we start moving into a functioning studio, it's awesome to sit down and have a proper discussion about the process and the reasonings behind going down this route.

Bella is a young up-and-coming Glendowie-based musician, and she's one to keep your eye on.

From a young age, Bella's tenacity and love for music has kept her driven to make music. Through band quest, rock quest, bands disbanding and a stint at university, music has always and will always be her priority.

Wherever there is vulnerable women there is going to be this issue of period poverty.  

This is what Reemi founder Emily realised while working with Syrian refugees in Hong Kong.

From then on she had a mission - to start breaking down the stigmas world wide surrounding women's health and get period products to wherever they are needed. 

It was really fascinating to get Emily's insight on how to open up the conversation in Aotearoa and worldwide.
