"This is Elizabeth Plant - writer, director and audio engineer of When Tower Angels Fall; a dark sci-fi drama about finding purpose after the end of the world came and went. Told half in the past, half in the present, the show comes with a healthy dose of angst, found family and biblically accurate angels.

This is Episode 3, titled “Styx and Stones.” It delves into the shared history of the callous Fionn and jaded Pom, who have both been shaken by the arrival of two new members to the oil rig they inhabit, which they and the other survivors thought till now unfindable.

In the previous episode, Pom attempted to seduce one arrival, and stole a priceless sentimental item of the other upon failing. Ophelia, almost entirely nonverbal, flies into a panic to find it.

Across the sea, in an ominous and all-powerful Institute, senior investigator Moltenore works with her subordinate, Emmens, to locate the oil rig and its inhabitants – by any means necessary. She routinely tortures Eden, a captive from the rig, with a white light known only as The Beacon – which agonisingly changes all who look upon it forever. Eden has come to believe it is an angel.

The party is also reunited with Bruce, their friend who had to go off on a solo mission for a bit in order to settle an old debt.

I have selected this particular excerpt because I believe that Twilight, the character played by Maddy, had a particularly... emotional experience and I think it really highlights how well our players embody their characters and I think it just came together as a really nice episode.
