It's a weird world we live in, where everyone is plugging in to technology to connect, judging and compartmentalizing friendships, families and circles due to peoples individual choices during a global pandemic, and the amount of likes, views, and followers is a determining factor of status and self validation. I think I may have been born in the wrong generation. Very little of this way of living is relatable to me, and I am here to call out how I truly feel about all of this, in hopes that we can come together, not tear apart! Let's go back to simpler times!

I haven't even smoked weed, or touched a cigarette, or done a drug. So I thought WHY NOT just jump right into trying shrooms...

Now I will be honest, I have always been the last person I know to touch a drug. However, recently I have been further educated on the benefits to mental health and spiritual breakthroughs if shrooms are used in the right way, setting, and guided. I asked my boyfriend Michael to be my guide through my experience which I pursued with the intention to conquer my fear, and anxiety, and to be grateful for the journey that I was meant to have.

Have you ever been in an abusive relationship? Me too. For the first time in my 30's I experienced trauma. Mrs. Happy-go-lucky, was not so happy anymore; culture-shocked into a new and devastating scenario that would rock my world.

On this weekends episode, I get personal; real personal. I have to say, this is my favorite episode yet. It took me weeks to find the words, and to finally put them into a recording, but after living on the other side of my comfort zone, I am finally able to articulate my story; the unhappy, yet defining chapter in my life. Let's be real...how often do you attach to things? Thoughts? Ideas? Outcomes? Being right? Think about it. ' I can't like anyone else because I am SO attached to my ex and our memories', 'I am so attached to being right that I cannot even have an open mind to understanding this other persons perspective, it's impossible!', 'If this vacation doesn't go exactly like I expected for it to then it is RUINED', 'If I just attach onto the good things, than the bad things don't matter...'. No. Un-attach. Now. Free yourself from being so attached to every, darn, thing and just start living, freely, without expectation or attachment. The person who is always right, is never the smartest person in the room, stop limiting yourself by attaching so strongly to your thoughts, ideas, and outcomes. 

For 33, almost 34 years I have been living in fear. I just realized this within the past year of my life; who knew?! As a confident, introvert-extrovert, I used to pride myself on being a big personality and very self-aware. Turns out that you can be all of those things, and equally afraid. I have had debilitating fears that have kept me in the shadows of my own abilities for years; and it's time to come out of the shadows. It is time to flourish and step into my true purpose. Doing so requires living on the other side of my comfort zone, on the other side of my fear. In this week's episode, I give you a glimpse into my life, my journey through my fear, and my awareness of the fear, and leave some lessons along the way!
