Episode #9: Trip of a Lifetime 14 Caribou Adak, Alaska – AA Crew
A Trip of a lifetime during the brutal month of February in one of Alaska’s most remote islands. Adak caribou are a non-native species to the island transplanted as an emergency food source for the former enlisted men and women stationed there from the late 40’s to the late 90’s. We spent a week chasing these remote Alaskan caribou and successfully killed 14 mature animals and explored the ruins of the island.
