The Average Gamers Podcast

In this Let's Talk episode, we discuss what we think it means to play casually, and the possible hurdles we face trying to do so in a varied gaming group.

We have a brief catchup on what we've been up to since last episode, and discuss what we think about 9th Edition 40k. We also talk over Fantasy Flight Games' In-Flight Report for 2020.

As lockdown in the UK continues, albeit with some minor lifting of restrictions, we discuss what we've been up to in the last couple of weeks. We talk a bit about the upcoming new edition of Warhammer 40,000, as well as games such as Malifaux, Formula D, Bushido, Azul, Flashpoint: Fire Rescue and many more!

In this edition of "Let's Talk" we cover the Transformers Trading Card Game by Wizards of the Coast!

On this episode we talk briefly about Games Workshop's announcement of a 9th edition of Warhammer 40,000 and what we think about it. We also discuss Darren losing his RPG virginity and how he feels now he's one of us! Finally, we talk about Mental Health Awareness week and how we feel we can encourage awareness and positive mental health within our hobby.

00:00:40 - Warhammer 40,000 9th Edition

In this longer-than-usual episode, Lee and Adam discuss all of the roleplaying games they've been having fun in recently, and in the latter half of the show, Darren joins the discussion to talk games that we found out we didn't like.

In our second Let's Talk, we chat to Robey Jenkins of Precinct Omega about his new game, Horizon Wars: Zero Dark (and not 'Horizon Zero Dark' as Lee calls it in the intro...).
