Life is not always neat and tidy. Sometimes our choices lead us down difficult paths and yet God never forsakes us. This week we take a break from our round-table podcasts and we spend some time with one of Hope Chapel's own. Welcome to the life and times of Joey Baseball.

This week we wrap up our discussion on Ezra and Nehemiah. We identify with his last words of "Remember me with favor." We also dive into what it means to fight as a Christian man, especially when we have given all we got and feel as though we have no more to give. How do we fight for our families, our sons and daughters, wives and homes?

This weeks round table discussion is around Israel's purity and the Ezra's decree to divorce. What idols do we create that pull us away from God plan for us? What does it take for our world to return to Christ?

This week we discuss practical application of the sermon on Ezra. We dive a bit into life in Babylon and how we grow so comfortable in our own Babylon that we resist leaving it for Jerusalem. Great practical advice on how to balance living out our faith as men in our work place and in our daily lives.

Our first episode is a short round table with the 6 men who have felt called to get the men's ministry of Hope Chapel up and running. In this podcast we introduce ourselves briefly and then bounce around the topic of "Fellowship," something that as men doesn't always come easily. We "do" things together, and we'll stand around make jokes and small talk, but rarely do we venture into deeper conversation that might lead to brotherhood. This week's episode is our first attempt at just having a conversation. In coming weeks we'll have some interviews and more discussion focusing on topics that relate to men.
