Para (Special Forces), also known as Para SF, is a special forces unit of the Indian Army, and part of the Parachute Regiment. The unit specializes in various roles including hostage rescue, counter-terrorism, unconventional warfare, special reconnaissance, foreign internal defense, counter-proliferation, counter-insurgency, seek and destroy, and personnel recovery.
Throughout history, it has been involved in various successful operations including the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971, Operation Bluestar, Operation Pawan, Operation Cactus, Kargil War, 2015 Indian counter-insurgency operation in Myanmar, 2016 Indian Line of Control strike, and in several anti-terror operations.
These men are considered to be the most dangerous human beings on the whole planet, they are also known as the Red Devils. They are so well trained & brutal that even the enemy praises them!
In this podcast, we talk with Major Sushant Singh, who's an Ex. Para SF Commander & has led a team of 550 commandos in 200+ counter-terrorist operations in Kashmir and North East India. He has been actively involved in counter-terrorist operations in close coordination with other government and intelligence agencies.
